Who we are

In many ways, music is our life. It has been our work, our hobby, our passion, and our outlet, and if you’re here then we know it’s yours as well.

RESEARCH DRIVE was a project formed in 2024 between friends and co-workers within the music industry. From live-shows and backline to studio recording and session-work, we are a band made of artists steeped in the musical fervor and innovation native to the Bay Area.

We firmly believe that there should be no borders on one’s artistic expression, and so everything we listen to is an fuel for the next song. While our strongest influences lay within the realms of Hardcore, Pop-Punk, and Alt-Rock, you’ll find a kaleidoscope of other genres across our catalog.
